Always supportive and usually with a twinkle in your eye that told me that you had mischief in mind at our agenda meetings. It was a privilege to work alongside you. Sleep peacefully Peter.

It was with great sadness that the Parish Council received the news that Councillor Peter Hunt had passed away on Saturday morning. Councillor Hunt had been a member of the Council since 2001, often in the role of Chair. He was the Planning Portfolio Holder and also a member of Cornwall Council's Standards Committee for a few years. His sense of community spirit was strong and he was happy to play the role of Father Xmas for the parish on occasions. In his private life Peter enjoyed angling and was a member of the Shark Fishing Club of Great Britain. His community spirit and the huge commitment that he gave to Council business will be sorely missed.

Thank you for setting up this memorial to Peter.
We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
